How does Kojo develop an understanding of space?
Spatial awareness is an abstract concept that most of us develop as children.
Simply put, spatial awareness is a child’s ability to understand where they are in relation to objects and where objects or structures relate to each other. When a child grabs a plate or a Kojo clip in front of him, he is apprehensive about what is in front of him.
Through movement and play, children discover the world and understand space. He learns to coordinate his gestures, improve his balance and avoid parasite movements. Construction games are perfect for this learning process, inviting the child to explore and manipulate the material in order to build and deconstruct.
